Propgram “Explore Japanese Culture After School Program” (EJC).
one of the most popluar cross-cultural program in New York!
Purpose To educate children to be "Global Citizens" by exposing them to different cultures
and value systems, so that children learn to respect and appreciate people
from different backgrounds and strengthen their global competence.
Theme foods, tea ceremony, martial arts, calligraphy, language, games, dance and karaoke
Beneficialies hundreds children (6-13 years old)
Area NYC's recreation center throughout all five boroughs


"The Explore Japanese Culture After School Program"
provides New York City youth opportunities
to cultivate a sense of "Global Citizenship"
by exposing them to different cultures and value systems.
NY de Volunteer fosters the interests of children
by introducing them to fun and creative Japanese cultural activities.
In an active partnership with the New York City Parks and Recreation Department,
our programs serve hundreds of children in communities throughout all five boroughs."
