10th Anniversary!!
from NY de Volunteer

Dear Friends & Supporters,

I am writing to
thank all of your suppor and give you an update on our achievements this past year as well as our goals for a very special next year—our 10th Anniversary!

We kindly ask for your donations as our supporting foundations and government institutions have sustained large budget cuts, severely limiting programs we can offer. This school year, our largest grant from the City of New York for the "Explore Japanese Culture" (EJC) program was frozen due to such cuts.

Nonetheless, the excitement we have garnered from the children in EJC—their smiling faces, and their “ah-ha!” moments as they learn new things about Japanese culture from real Japanese people—reminds us that we cannot simply abandon our efforts for the program.

Please help us to help others. Any gift you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
